AELKEMI Ltd began life ten years ago as a boutique advisory service in the offshore energy sector, providing technical, project management, project finance and market analysis consulting services for international upstream oil and gas service and construction companies.
We have since evolved to support the global transition to a low carbon economy and Aelkemi is currently engaged in providing both consulting and project development services for renewable energy projects. Focus has been mostly in the fast-growing sector of floating offshore wind farms and more recently in developing solutions for the challenges we face in realising the hydrogen economy. The portfolio of projects cover the UK (where the company is located), as well the emerging markets around the Mediterranean coasts and countries on the African continent.
In Cyprus Aelkemi is actively participating in the early phase development of a unique, carbon negative circular economy enterprise, which aims to convert farm and other organic waste to green fuels, clean energy and bio-fertiliser for the local economy.
